Well, it appears that Bermuda will host that Island Games in 2013 now that Prince Edward Island has pulled out.
It will be the biggest sporting event the island has ever hosted with close to 2,000 athletes and another 1,000 or so coaches, trainers and officials.
Now the hard work begins. The National Centre's pool needs to be completed and the local organizers need to work on finalizing details on where they are going to put all those people!
Congrats to Jon Beard and his group.
